Placentia Presbyterian Church

On April 14th the children and youth led the first LOGOS Sunday worship service focused on “Blessings”. All the children from preschool to senior high sang songs of blessing, shared scripture verses about blessings, encouraged blessing others through Lemonade for Love, recognized the blessings of our volunteers with special pins and notes, and spoke about blessings, excerpts of which are below: “We are blessed with God’s love. Look at this church. I think it is beautiful. That is a blessing.” — Sean Younger “Blessings can be found in everything if one searches hard and long enough. Sadness is a blessing because how are we to know true happiness if we don’t know its opposite? Loneliness is a blessing as how are we to ever know fulfillment if we never felt empty? How are we to know we are unique if we never felt small?” — Kayla Hollingsworth “I am blessed as I never had to search for something that was missing or feel lost because of the way I was raised. Luckily for me I was raised having a faith and perspective that some people have to search for their entire lives. A huge blessing is this church family that mentored me, inspired me, cared about me, & has been there for anything I need.”— Emily Soby
